Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs has
selected Cherry Hill School District for Self Assessment and
Monitoring.
Specifically, the NJOSEP monitoring
process is focused on improving educational results and functional
outcomes for students with disabilities and ensuring compliance with
those special education requirements related to positive student
outcomes.
This
process has begun and included a public meeting that gave parents in the district an
opportunity to bring forth their concerns and suggestions about
special education programs and services. The
public meeting was held on March
31, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Cherry Hill H.S. West's new auditorium.
CHSEPTA would like to thank everyone that took the time to
participate!

needs children have formed Special Education PTAs (SEPTAs) and
created communities of support. SEPTAs provide information,
networking opportunities, social interactions, and advocacy tools
for parents of special needs children at all grade levels. <read
