If you are the parent of a special needs child, numerous challenges and opportunities await you over the course of your child's education.  Fortunately, you don't have to go it alone.  In many places across the country, parents of special needs children have formed Special Education PTAs (SEPTAs) and created communities of support.  SEPTAs provide information, networking opportunities, social interactions, and advocacy tools for parents of special needs children at all grade levels. <read more...>
