Cherry Hill Special Education Parent Teacher Association

MISSION

Our mission is to work with parents, teachers and administrators to provide the most appropriate education for all children with special needs.  CHSEPTA is a support group to the whole family and everyone involved in the child's education.  We are a reliable source of information in regards to services and programs offered throughout our district. CHSEPTA offers support, education, socialization and advocacy for children with special needs, their families and educators.

SUPPORT - Provide community support and advocacy for caregivers and educators of children with special needs

EDUCATION - Be a source of information and education for caregivers and educators of children with special needs

SOCIALIZATION - Offer opportunities for socialization amongst our members and children with special needs

ADVOCACY - Provide information on available special services

CHSEPTA does not endorse any one type of placement of education setting – that decision belongs to each IEP team, including: parents, educators, therapists and students.
